Peter N. Macaluso, a Tampa native with strong community ties, has been serving the Bay area for the past thirty-five years. He earned his B.S. in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 1970. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1970.
With the establishment of his own practice in 1974, Mr. Macaluso has consistently sought to create a practice in which the clients can receive full personal attention. Many of his clients have continued to retain his services throughout the years.
Mr. Macaluso's career accomplishments in the Tampa Bay area include being a former special Appointed Public Defender for Hillsborough County and serving as Staff Attorney for Legal Aid. He is a founding member, and past Vice-President of the Hillsborough County Criminal Defense Lawyers' Association. In 2005, he received the "Have a Heart Award" from the Hillsborough County Bar Association for his pro bono work to the community. He continues to support the community through activities such as presenting seminars to various non-profit organizations and bar associations. He has also been called upon by the local news media for his professional commentary in various types of cases.
